The tool has a hooked shape similar to a parrot's beak with a working part of 26 mm. They have a wide range of applications for carving, are one of the main knives in geometric thread, and are also convenient and in demand using the Whittling carving technique. The knife is made of steel 65G (Germany 66Mn4, Ck67, USA 1066) and have maple handles coated with tung oil. Sharpening angle - 20 degrees, blade thickness - 1.7 mm.

Wood carving axe Zvenigorod VII . This axe is made for artistic processing of wood, such as carving sculptures, bowl carving, dish carving and other stuff.

Carving axe Zvenigorod VII is quite small and easy to control. It's weight is about 650g, makes it maneuverable and allows you to work more accurate and precise.

The shape of the axe head was designed for carving operations where palm is resting extreamly close to axe head or even on the axe head. This design helps to exelent control of the axe even during long carving sessions. Grip above the head is used for trimming, stripping. This axe model was based on samples from museum "Rubankov" and finalized taking into account the wishes of wood carvers.

The axe head is hand forged from steel 65Г (spring steel) and hardened to 55 - 58 HRc at the cutting edge and along the entire beard, the rest part is normalized to HB280. This hardening allows you to hit the poll without the risk of creating a cracks in the metal.
Head has mounted to handle on 3 wedges, one along the head eye and two in cross section.

Cutting edge is razor sharp and ready to work out of the box. Sharpening angle - 30 degrees.

Axe handle is made of maple* and coated with Danish oil**. The hatchet handle has a longitudinal bend. In cross-section the handle has the shape of an egg, which is very convenient for good grip while carving. Handle has a hole for hanging.

Bent Gouge Rubankov, N7, 30mm (1.8 inches)

Carving chisel "Rubankov" Bent Gouge N7, 30mm ( 1.8 inches ). Perfectly suits for volume carving and deep hollow carving. The width of the cutting edge is 30mm ( 1.8inches ). The total lenght of the gouge is 280mm (11.02inches ), blade lenght is 145mm ( 5.71inches ), the lenght of the handle is 135mm (5.31inches ). Made of alloy steel, hand forged and hardened to 59-61HRc. The comfortable and ergonomic oval handle is made of cherrywood ( may change) and coated with oil.

Gouge is sharpened, honed and fully ready to work out of the box.
This model is for hand cutting and can be used with a mallet.

Checkering too B-1, is a 2 conical cutter with a working angle of 90 degrees, separated by a wide groove with teeth. A tool for making the roller around the notch. Pay attention to the high relief, providing fast and smooth cutting. The tines provide good removal of all hardwoods.

A cutter is just the same as cutting deep or shallow grooves, right or rounded corners, parallel lines or cross-hatching, in the direction of the fiber or across. No need to re-do the pass to treat uneven areas. Smoothly each groove is obtained.

Резец C-1, имеет 1 пирамидальный зуб. Угол вершины 90 и 60 градусов. Резец продается в сборе, имеют удобную рукоять из бука и шток с установленной на нем рабочей частью. Все резцы изготовлены из стали, прошли процесс закалки и обработки, для продолжительной и надежной работы.
Имеет V-образную форму с зубцами по обе стороны. Резец С-1 предназначен для нанесения оригинального макета рисунка, а также для углубления канавок после их нанесения, другими резцами.

Forged carpentry short chisels Istra with a straight cutting edge and a wooden handle, has designed for hard work. The basis for the manufacture of chisels Istra was taken the form of old Russian chisels from the old tools museum Rubankov, and also takes into account long-term experience in the development of professional carpentry and carpentry tools of other toolworks.

The blade has forged manually from steel ШХ15 (USA analog is 52100, G52986, J19965; Germany  analog of 1.3505, 100Cr6, 102Cr6) and hardened to 61-63HRC. Carpentry chisels are intended for timber framing for processing deep grooves in logs and timber as an indispensable tool for the construction of frame structures in the style of timber frame, post-and-beam half-timbered, fachwerkhaus, Log house.
