The body of the scraper is entirely hand forged from 9XC tool steel and hardened to 55 ... 58 HRC. The bending radius of the blade in both planes is 1100mm. The cutting edge is sharpened at an angle of 30 degrees. A step is made on the working part of the blade to reduce the thickness of the cutting edge.
