Держатели для заточки малых ножей, режущих насадок, сменных лезвий могут использоваться для заточки плоских режущих элементов небольших размеров, имеющие посадочное отверстие на корпусе. Производство фабрика Петроградъ (Россия).
С помощью держателя можно затачивать режущие элементы:
- ножей от стружков Dictun, Kunz, Lie-nielsen, Luban, Veritas, ПЕТРОГРАДЪ
- насадных пластин от расточных токарных резцов Crown Nand Tools, Robert Sorby, Брюкшен, ПЕТРОГРАДЪ

- любых других режущих деталей, имеющих отверстие, с помощью которого деталь можно закрепить на держателе.

Последовательность заточки ножа:
- определить диаметр отверстия на корпусе ножа
- подобрать держатель в зависимости от размера (диаметра) винта, входящего в комплект с держателей.
- прочно закрепить нож на держателе с помощью винта. ВАЖНО!!! Нож не должен вращаться на держателе.
- закрепить держатель с ножом на точилке или на точильном столике
- заточку производить также, как заточку обычного ножа или стамески
