Description
The blade for wooden planes. Ьade of steel 9HS (DIN - 150Cr14), hardened to 59-61 HRC. It has dimensions: total length 80 mm, width 30 mm, thickness minimum 3.5 mm, thickness maximum 5 mm.
All blades are wedge-shaped with a wedge angle of 0.5 degrees, which favorably distinguishes from others, and is ideal for wooden planes with wedge fixation.
Blades have two sides - one hard, one soft (production feature)
Absolutely every blade is tested with a hardness tester.
The solid side has 2 points from the diamond cone - the test, and the control test.

Leather fingertip is a thumb guard for wood carvers by Petrograd toolworks. Designed to protect hands from sharp tools. Thumb guard protects your finger from cut injuries when you are moving the cutting tool towards thumb, and prevents the formation of calluses when working away from yourself.
