The 2.5 mm thick blade is made of 65G (Germany 66Mn4, Ck67, USA 1066) steel,  hardened to 59-61 HRc. Sharpened and ready to go.

Carving chisel "Rubankov" Bent Gouge N6, 20mm ( 0.79 inches ). Perfectly suits for volume carving and deep hollow carving. The width of the cutting edge is 20mm ( 0.79inches ). The total lenght of the gouge is 425mm ( 16.73inches ), blade lenght is 145mm ( 5.71inches ), the lenght of the handle is 280mm (11.02inches ). Made of alloy steel, hand forged and hardened to 59-61HRc. The comfortable and ergonomic oval handle is made of cherrywood ( may change) and coated with oil.

Gouge is sharpened, honed and fully ready to work out of the box.
This model is for hand cutting and can be used with a mallet.

Checkering tool S-1 has 1 pyramidal tooth. Angle of the top is 90 degrees. The cutter has a convenient beech handle and a rod with a sharp bend perpendicular to the cutting axis and the working part installed on it. Thumb guard protects your finger from cut injuries when you are moving the cutting tool towards thumb, and prevents the formation of calluses when working away from yourself.
