Awl for basket weaving, straight needle. Awl is one of essentional basket weaving tools and used for easely weaving rods in rows. Straight weaving awl allow you to move apart the rows and weave additional elements into it, its especially necessary with openwork weaving. Needle made of steel, point is flatten. The handle is made of maple and covered with oil.

Cutting knife PETROGRAD, double bevel 20 deg, 20mm/163mm
Cutting knife PETROGRAD with a skew of 20 degrees. The knife jamb is one of the most versatile cutting tools used for marking, rough material removal, veneer dissolution and carving of decorative elements.
The blade thickness is about 2 mm. The blade is made of 65G steel (Germany 66Mn4, Ck67, USA 1066) hardened to 59-61 HRc. Comfortable maple rectangular handle with bevels soaked with oil. Knife jamb sharpened and ready to go. Sharpening angle 25 degrees. Knives with a slanting sharpening have a wide range of applications (carving, marking, working with cardboard, marquetry, intarsia, plywood, working with leather, producing musical instruments, modeling and in everyday life).
