Description
Carpenters Awl by petrograd toolworks has a twisted square blade profile. This profile allows you to mark the center of the holes and not get lost under the influence of wood fibers. The blade is made of carbon steel and has hardening of working part about 4-5 cm. The hardness of the working part is HRC 55-60. Blade length is about 90 ± 5 mm, cross-section is 3mm x 3mm. The handle has an ergonomic shape to rest with your whole palm, crimped with a brass ring. Handle material - maple, impregnated with oil. The total length of the awl is 200 ± 5 mm.
