Description
The vise must be installed on a workbench or other work surface such as massive table. This position is raising the workpiece to a comfortable height for sawing, marking and clear chisel cutting. The front jaw of vise is a clamping jaw. It is firmly fix the workpiece with two screws. Downside of front jaw protrudes downward for easy position vise flush to edge of surface.

The Wooden Moxon vise by Petrograd toolworks was designed by Sergey Klein and was based on the early works of Anry Ruobo and Joseph Moxon. Vise have some changes from original work for more compliment work with dovetails and other woodworking joints. Moxon vise do not replace the classic workbench, but it is a devise that expands the arsenal of any master.

Fan gasket for bench press
Fan gasket for bench press. Size 40x120 mm consists of 7 slats (4,5,5,5,5,5,10 mm). This simple device is designed to help prevent the vise from skewing and jamming by clamping the workpiece to one side of the vise. Just fit as many fan-shaped spacers as you need so that the thickness of the fan-shaped insert is approximately the same as the thickness of your part. When clamping parts with a thickness of more than 40 mm, it is recommended to use junk pieces of wood together with the fan to compensate for the skew. This keeps your workpiece securely in place and prevents the vise mechanism from skewing and jamming. The gaskets are made of various types of wood and have an aesthetic appearance.

Protective wax for tools, PETROGRAD, 40ml
Contains paraffins, stearic acid, gelling agent, stabilizer, preservatives for metals, orthophosphoric acid, which protects instruments from aggressive environments. Perfect for protecting planing knives, chisels and other cutting tools, it is also suitable for protecting firearms from rust. The tool is not included.
The wax is applied to the surface in a thin layer with gloves using a sponge or brush.

Carving axe Zvenigorod VII is quite small and easy to control. It's weight is about 650g, makes it maneuverable and allows you to work more accurate and precise.
The shape of the axe head was designed for carving operations where palm is resting extreamly close to axe head or even on the axe head. This design helps to exelent control of the axe even during long carving sessions. Grip above the head is used for trimming, stripping. This axe model was based on samples from museum "Rubankov" and finalized taking into account the wishes of wood carvers.
The axe head is hand forged from steel 65Г (spring steel) and hardened to 55 - 58 HRc at the cutting edge and along the entire beard, the rest part is normalized to HB280. This hardening allows you to hit the poll without the risk of creating a cracks in the metal.
Head has mounted to handle on 3 wedges, one along the head eye and two in cross section.
Cutting edge is razor sharp and ready to work out of the box. Sharpening angle - 30 degrees.
Axe handle is made of maple* and coated with Danish oil**. The hatchet handle has a longitudinal bend. In cross-section the handle has the shape of an egg, which is very convenient for good grip while carving. Handle has a hole for hanging.
