Description
Checkering tools from R-series have two sides: the right side with teeth, the left side - smooth, used as a guide. The gap between the tool tips is equal to the pitch. All the cutters are made of steel, underwent a process of hardening and processing, for long and reliable work. The left blade is devoid of teeth, has a sharp and smooth shape, and exactly follows along the guide line. The right blade has teeth and cuts a new groove during the process of notching from left to right. At the same time between the previous line and the new remains empty space - the line width in the usual row. Thus, it is possible to alternate sections with a notch and neat smooth lines of the same width. Such a notch principle is often called "French" or "Scottish." Beech handle.
Totally hand made at PETROGRAD factory of joinery and carpentry tools. Made in Russia.
