Вайма ПЕТРОГРАДЪ, модель 2, 1160мм – это усовершенствованная версия модели номер 1. Используется для склейки деревянных щитов и делянок толщиной до 100мм. Отличительной особенностью являются ножки, благодаря наличию которых вайма стала более устойчивой. Производство фабрика Петроградъ (Россия).

Очередной приятной особенностью ваймы является то, что она может быть сложена в транспортировочное состояние, при котором общая длина снижается до 15 см. Сокращение длина достигается посредством перевода шарнира петель внутрь направляющих. Именно в таком состоянии вайма отправляется при доставке транспортной компанией.
Прижимной блок из высокопрочной стали обеспечивает высокое равномерное давление на ламели. Прочный винт обеспечивает качественный прижим. В процессе эксплуатации винт необходимо очищать от опилок и смазывать любым машинным маслом. Это значительно увеличит срок службы инструмента. Благодаря специальной конструкции вайм на склеиваемые заготовки оказывается равномерное давление с 4-х сторон. Это обеспечивает прочную склейку без щелей при условии качественной прифуговки делянок и качественного клея. Два съёмных упорных штифта со съемной шпилькой позволяют оперативно переставлять задний упор для регулировки необходимых размеров.

Carving axe Zvenigorod VII is quite small and easy to control. It's weight is about 650g, makes it maneuverable and allows you to work more accurate and precise.
The shape of the axe head was designed for carving operations where palm is resting extreamly close to axe head or even on the axe head. This design helps to exelent control of the axe even during long carving sessions. Grip above the head is used for trimming, stripping. This axe model was based on samples from museum "Rubankov" and finalized taking into account the wishes of wood carvers.
The axe head is hand forged from steel 65Г (spring steel) and hardened to 55 - 58 HRc at the cutting edge and along the entire beard, the rest part is normalized to HB280. This hardening allows you to hit the poll without the risk of creating a cracks in the metal.
Head has mounted to handle on 3 wedges, one along the head eye and two in cross section.
Cutting edge is razor sharp and ready to work out of the box. Sharpening angle - 30 degrees.
Axe handle is made of maple* and coated with Danish oil**. The hatchet handle has a longitudinal bend. In cross-section the handle has the shape of an egg, which is very convenient for good grip while carving. Handle has a hole for hanging.
